About Greta Wendorf, LMHC, CTP
You are probably struggling with anxious thoughts, fears, maybe guilt and shame; I've been there! After doing my own therapy work years ago, God called me to become a therapist to help others. This is why I'm passionate about helping individuals that have gone through frightening events, have had a loss, have difficult relationships, or find it hard to manage their anger.
I help my clients to cope with their situation, negative thoughts and emotions by helping them identify the triggers and giving them tools so they can have more peaceful, abundant lives and fulfilled relationships.
The idea of the slogan A Shelter from the Storm was given to me by God and it is based on Isaiah 4:6 where God promises His people to provide "a place of refuge, and for a shelter from the storm and rain" after they had been suffering because of their struggles.
I have worked with clients with several forms of mental health disorders including severe and substance use disorders in different settings. I'm a member of a local church where I serve in the women's ministry. When I'm not working you can find me spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, or reading.
